Each session is approached as a commissioned body of work, shaped by the meaning of the subject and the experience we are creating together. Pricing reflects planning, photographing, editing, and the care taken to create images that feel lasting, personal, and true to what is being carried.
Collections begin with a session commission and vary based on subject, scope, and final image selection. Some work is simple and intimate; some requires more preparation, location coordination, or a deeper documentary approach. The starting prices below are meant to give a clear foundation while leaving room to shape the session around what matters most.
Living Heritage
Portrait commissions centered on lineage, cultural presence, continuity, and the traditions carried through people, family, and community.
Commissions begin at $850
Designed for individuals, intergenerational portraits, and legacy-centered work. Larger community, documentary, and event-adjacent commissions are quoted individually.
Companions
Portrait commissions devoted to the animals who shape our lives through presence, personality, and bond.
Commissions begin at $650
Created to preserve more than appearance — honoring the presence, temperament, and spirit that make an animal deeply known and deeply loved. Multiple animals or complex locations may be quoted separately.
Embodied Discipline
Portrait and action-based commissions focused on martial arts, kendo, training, and the physical disciplines through which character is shaped and revealed.
Commissions begin at $750
Created for individual portraiture, practice-based sessions, and selected action work rooted in ritual, form, and movement. Tournament, group, and extended event coverage is quoted individually.
What all commissions include
All commissions include pre-session consultation, creative planning, photographing, professional editing, and curated image delivery. Some sessions also include location planning, permit coordination, or custom quoting depending on scope.
Some commissions are best quoted individually — especially multi-subject sessions, community-based work, tournament coverage, and projects requiring a more documentary approach. If you are not sure where your session fits, the inquiry form is the best place to begin.
If the work speaks to something meaningful in your life, I’d be honored to hear more. Inquiries are the best way to begin shaping a session around the subject, story, and presence you want preserved.
